Automatic Railroad Crossing
Connection
The sensor tracks and the automatic railroad crossing, can be integrated simply into your model railway construction.
Warning:
The automatic railroad crossing of KATO required a transformer with a negativ (-) grounding.
Please don't use a Trafo with a positive (+) grounding. A positive grounding destroys the equipment!
Function
First the locomotive passes the sensor track and announces themselves to the control unit the railroad crossing approaching course. The railway barriers begin themselves to lower slowly. The warning lights light up and the warning signal sounded. The barriers remain closed until the last car passed the second stored sensor track. Now the railway barriers lift themselves again very slowly. The warning lights expire. The railroad crossing can be crossed now by the traffic again.
